| is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is Board Certified by the American
Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Laskin has chosen to focus his
surgical expertise in the areas of cosmetic, reconstructive and
hand surgery.
Dr. Laskin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology,
cum laude, with highest honors, from Brandeis University, a
school with one of the top science programs in the nation.
Continuing his education Dr. Laskin received his medical degree
from Hahnemann Medical College located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Following medical school, Dr. Laskin became a decorated member
of the U.S. Army Medical Corp., serving as a plastic surgeon
at both Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
and Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Each
military medical center serves the residents of seven to ten
states. The opportunity to serve on staff at these medical
centers provided Dr. Laskin with a level of training above
that which is offered to surgeons in residence at private hospitals.
A veteran of the Persian Gulf War, Dr. Laskin served on a
surgical unit with the 24th Infantry Division during its invasion
of Iraq. For his efforts in the war, Dr. Laskin was awarded
the Army Commendation Medal and the Combat Medic’s Badge.
Dr. Laskin prides himself in giving one-on-one, personalized
care and performs all surgeries and procedures himself. Only
with a solo practitioner does Dr. Laskin believe the patient
can find the comfort, privacy and individualized care they
seek and deserve.
